Our international student body also presents many opportunities to learn about other people, cultures, and customs. This makes for a great environment for our students to get together, talk, and give advice on everyday life in Japan as well as any problems that they may be facing.

SANKO Japanese Language School

Ella (Philippines)

In my two years as a student of Sanko Japanese Language School Tokyo, I had a lot of extraordinary experiences which boosted my confidence especially in communicating in Japanese. First, I enjoyed different events that provide learning opportunities and are scheduled every year including a sports festival, BBQ party, a trip to Disneyland and cultural activities. With these, each student can enjoy and learn a lot. Next, the teachers have big hearts and are very generous. They always have a smile on when they greet us. Also, they give consideration to students that need it. Also, coming from different places makes us learn a lot more about the cultures, histories, and languages of each other’s country. Tuition fees are expensive but it is worth it for all that you will learn, fun you will have, friends you will gain.

SANKO Japanese Language School

(Malaysia)

Upon first arriving here, whenever I felt lost, teachers were very willing to help me. No matter what difficulties I faced, they would always come up with possible solutions, and offer their opinion so that I can overcome problems with ease. It was great knowing that I wasn’t alone, that like a family, the teachers continuously support and care for all their students. The school also teaches us about Japanese language and culture. From time to time, they arrange out-of-school activities for the students, such as a barbecue party or a trip to Disneyland. On these occasions, we are able to learn things you can only experience outside the classroom, and have the chance to interact with local Japanese people. Isn’t it wonderful to be able to learn and have fun all at the same time? This might seem old-fashioned, but let me sum up with one last sentence: Our school might not have the same longstanding history and reputation as other language schools, but I believe that anyone coming to SANKO Japanese Language School Tokyo will find that it is a place filled with teachers’ love and passion.

Wen Chun (Taiwan)

I am very fortunate to have come to SANKO Japanese Language School to study Japanese. Every teacher has their own teaching style, and they are all friendly and committed to doing their job. Every student is well taken care of; we may ask questions without hesitation, and converse with teachers and classmates freely. We are encouraged not to be afraid to make mistakes, but to learn from them and grow as students. At the school they have study rooms where you can study, discuss, borrow books, or even take an occasional break. At SANKO we do more than just attend Japanese class. We get to experience Japanese culture, such as events like Sports Day, Culture Day, or exchanges with Japanese high school students. These experiences are hard to come by, so we do our best to take advantage of such invaluable learning opportunities. I believe that everyone who comes to Japan has their own goals and dreams; whether you want to further your education or find a job in Japan, if you encounter difficulties, the staff is always willing to discuss solutions and offer up advice to help you through it. I highly recommend SANKO Japanese Language School. You can meet people from all over the world, make friends, and support each other while united by a common goal of learning about Japanese language and culture.
