- Course Description
- "Have fun learning Japanese." This is the basic principle upon which our long-term course was created. Students from over 30 different countries and varying goals (academic and career advancement as well as returning to their home country) are enrolled in this course. In order to facilitate the smooth progression to the next step in each students life we also we offer future course advising(English for university, math classes, business classes for job-hunting, and a variety of culture classes) as well as everyday life advising. 3 weeks of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) preparation curriculum is also included in this course.
This course is designed in a way that aims to prepare students from non-Chinese character (kanji)-based languages to successfully complete the N2 level of the JLPT in 2 a two-year period. (kanji-based language native can progress more quickly). We also offer advising for students aiming to advance into vocational schools, universities, or graduate school. There are even English, math, and general studies classes available for students intending to advance into University.

- Course Description
- The short-term course is designed for students visiting Japan on visa-waiver agreements, tourist, working holiday, dependent, or any other type of residence visa. The course is open serves students of a wide variety of ages and goals including the following:
1. To learn Japanese starting with the basics
2. To learn the language necessary for everyday life in Japan
3. To improve Japanese for the purpose of acquiring a certain certification
4. To not simply learn Japanese, but be immersed in Japanese culture, etc...
This is a conversation-based course which also offers weekly opportunities (every Friday) for students to participate in excursions in and around Kyoto to enjoy the area's famous tourist destinations as well as
